At Sisu, we prioritize serving nutrient-dense meals to optimize brain development, immune function, and blood sugar regulation. We believe that the food we eat sets the foundation for a focused and harmonious learning environment as well as a life of balance.

We actively participate in local children’s programs, homeschool co-ops, and serve through volunteer opportunities. ABOUT OUR TEAM
Ms. Dustie
FOUNDER, CREATOR & LEADER
Ms. Dustie is a dedicated wife and mother with almost 20 years of experience working with children. From residential treatment centers to private schools and summer camps, she specializes in social, emotional, and behavioral encouragement. With a deep understanding of both neurodivergent and neurotypical needs, she has supported families through these unique challenges.
Founding The Sisu Method, she recognizes the need for deeper connections among children & families. Noticing how mainstream education often overlooks mental and physical well-being, she created a supportive space where parents feel heard and children can thrive. Ms. Dustie is committed to fostering resilience and emotional well-being in every child she encounters.
Ms. Amanda
HEAD OF ACADEMIC DEVELOPMENT
Amanda Delgado graduated from Palm Beach Atlantic University earning her bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education. She is entering her fifth year teaching, with three years of experience in kindergarten and one year in early childhood education. Being head of academic development, she loves teaching for many reasons. The foundation of her passion lies in helping children discover their environment, make valuable connections & fall in love with learning.
Ms. Kirsten
HOUSE GRANDMA & CARETAKER
Ms. Kirsten has devoted her life to nurturing children's growth and development through art education, private care, and para support in public schools. With a gentle and unique teaching style, she emphasizes the importance of understanding boundaries, expectations, and the balance between respect and unconditional love. She believes that mistakes are an essential part of the learning process, providing her students the freedom to explore and grow, while gently guiding them to understand that they can always try again. Her wealth of knowledge and creativity inspires children to express themselves and develop their skills in a supportive environment. Ms. Grandma is more than just an educator; she is a compassionate mentor dedicated to helping every child flourish.
